Our Mission and Vision

On August 31, 2026 the US Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision to allow construction of the White House “ballroom” to continue. When East Wing Restoration Project was founded construction of the new White House “ballroom” had not yet started and there was a level of uncertainty that it actually would. Since then construction, of both a substantial underground security complex and an aboveground “ballroom”, has not only started but has progressed quite rapidly. We, therefore, felt the need to refocus our mission. 

Our singular priority now is to dismantle and upcycle the materials from the “ballroom” or any aboveground structure that stands as a monument to the 47^th president.

Our first objective, with the reclaimed materials, is to create and install memorials to the victims of ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement). 

Through grassroots fundraising, by partnering with like-minded philanthropic individuals and organizations and providing essential grant funding we will make this happen.

We continue to be committed to the restoration and preservation of the East Wing of the White House, “the people’s house”. The October 2025 demolition of the East Wing was a desecration to one of our most treasured historic spaces and to our national heritage. We will not allow the White House grounds to be permanently disfigured by this illegal “ballroom”. 

Our mission is driven by a vision to ensure that the East Wing is not only rebuilt but monuments to the 47^th president are completely and permanently removed. We envision a country that will rally around the protection of one of our most cherished national monuments, the White House, a worldwide symbol of democracy and a national icon. 

We have been inspired, and it is now our mission to inspire others, to take action to ensure the dismantling and repurposing of the self-aggrandizing monument that is currently under construction where the modest historic East Wing once stood. 

We will not wait – we the people are beginning now to rebuild our democracy; physically, symbolically, emotionally!
